Literature vs. Traffic: 10 thousand books took over the street

Random passers-by were greeted by an unusual scene on Hagerman Street in Toronto. Luzinterruptus, an anonymous art group from Spain, which is famous for interventions in public spaces (similar to our Prostoroževka), covered the street with ten thousand books!

TEDxLjubljana 2016: Let's spin the wheels

On December 4, 2016, TEDxLjubljana 2016 will be held again in the Gallus hall of Cankarjev dom. Trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016)

The popular Gilmore Girls TV series is returning to the small screen after nine years at the end of November 2016, with the original cast. We will be able to follow the adventures of Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) in four 90-minute parts of the miniseries entitled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, which will be available on Netgflix from November 25, 2016.

Premiere: Old clowns in SNG Nova Gorica

The play Stari Klovni will premiere on November 16, 2016, on the big stage at SNG Nova Gorica. The drama, written by the Romanian author Matei Visnies, and we have to thank the director Jaša Jamnik for directing the first Slovenian production, hides the question of fear of unemployment and the question of when a person becomes too old for the job market under the seemingly comic performance. Meet Khoudia Diop, the Instagram sensation who many called a slob and a daughter of the night before she turned her dark skin to her advantage and became a fashion model. A young Senegalese woman was often ridiculed in her youth because of her black skin color, which makes other black people look like white people. The name 'melanin queen' (melanin is a dark pigment that gives a person the color of their skin, hair and eyes) was also given to them with the aim of encouraging others to be confident about their color or skin tone.

The Escape - Clive Owen and BMW shine in the new film sequel

Remember when BMW created a series of eight-minute web movies called The Hire a decade and a half ago, starring Clive Owen and BMW vehicles. The two main actors return to the scene after 2002 in the new short film The Escape, one a bit rusty (Owen) but still up to the task, and the other (BMW) in better shape than ever (BMW 540i).
