Running event: Škofjeloški Run of Four Bridges 2016

On June 11, 2016, the Four Bridges Run will take place in Škofja Loka. The fifth such run will be opened by a Friday gathering of runners with pasta (Cankarjev trg) and live music, a sports market (open on Friday from 6 to 11 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m.) and the night LUFt (Loška Art Festival) , but for real (in the competitive sense) it will take place on Saturday at 9 p.m. See you!

The Paris Musées organization, which takes care of 14 Parisian museums, does not intend to "convert" those who do not like visiting museums, but rather offered them a more comfortable alternative: an online platform in which it "exhibits" its entire assortment of works of art. To promote the platform, they set up an imaginative advertising campaign tailored to the modern web user, in which ten star Instagram users were offered the opportunity to recreate one of the works of art in their own way.

Summer Beer & Burger Fest 2016 is coming

It will be sizzling again in the capital. The summer edition of the street delicacy Pivo & Burger Fest is coming, which will take place on Pogačarjev trg in Ljubljana on July 2 and 3, 2016. Concert: David Gilmour in Vienna

After last year's successful tour, David Gilmour, ex-guitarist and singer of Pink Floyd, returns to the music stage. Last year we had the opportunity to see him in Pula, but this year we will be able to go to his concert in Vienna. Three years ago, we were able to see a concert by Roger Waters, the second of the two singers of this group and the main author of the famous album The Wall. Although it is no longer possible to see the band in its original line-up, it is definitely worth tasting at least the remaining pieces of one of the most important psychedelic rock bands of all time.

Concert: Cat Power in Šiška Cinema

American musician Chan Marshall, better known in the music world as Cat Power, will perform in Slovenia for the first time on September 10, 2016. In 1994, Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) and Tim Foljahn (Two Dollar Guitar) discovered the then-unknown Marshall, which was performing as a support group for Liz Phair. Over the next two years, Marshall released albums Dear Sir and Myra Lee with Steve and Tim.

Movie Trailer: Deepwater Horizon (2016)

Deepwater Horizon is a disaster biopic based on the true events of the oil rig of the same name in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010, when the largest oil environmental disaster in American history took place. Whether the filmmakers want to give the disaster a human face and partially erase the black stain from the main culprit, the company BP, which is not mentioned by name in the film, is not known, but the film definitely bets on the heroism of the individual and the power of love, and looks for sympathy from the audience, which may be it also overflows on the connection between the people and BP. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Kate Hudson, John Malkovich, Gina Rodriguez and Kurt Russell.

SladoLent 2016: Lent once again hosts the biggest festival of street food in Slovenia

SladoLent was a peripheral event of the Lent Festival six years ago, but today it is hard to imagine Lent without it. SladoLent 2016 is therefore a logical continuation of the culinary story written by top chefs and a crowd of people who rush to this culinary festival in Maribor like the Drava river rushes after a storm. Between June 24 and July 2, 2016, it will host as many as 27 chefs who will once again turn Maribor into the culinary capital of Slovenia.

Desert Trip Festival with many rock legends!

This year in California promises to be an event worthy of all the attention, money, effort and enthusiasm of rockers around the world. On October 7 at sunrise, the legendary Bob Dylan will open the Coachella Valley Desert Trip Festival, the first and only event of its kind. After his performance, he will be followed as equals by The Rolling Stones, Neil Young and Paul McCartney will impress the next day, and The Who and Roger Waters will join forces on the last day.
