European Basketball Championship 2015 - Slovenians start their hunt for high places against Croats #EuroBasket 2015

The European Basketball Championship 2015 is just around the corner. This year will be something special (well, hands down, EuroBasket 2013, hosted by Slovenia, was even more so), as it is shared by four countries, namely Germany, Latvia, France and Croatia. The proximity (Slovenia will play the preliminaries in Zagreb) will give the championship an extra boost, as we will practically be playing at home again. A real migration of nations is thus expected to the Arena. Since 1993, Slovenia has not missed a single basketball tournament of the old continent, and the last five have always reached the quarterfinals. Is it time to go one step further? The championship starts on September 5 and ends on September 20, 2015, and Slovenia opens it on Saturday with a match against the Croatians.
