Times have changed. The traditional division of roles and functions within the private sphere no longer exists in the developed world. If once men earned money (in the role of breadwinner) and women raised and took care of children and the home at home, today men are much more involved in spheres that were once strictly women's (and vice versa, of course). Today, the gender boundaries within families are increasingly blurred, in Slovenia this is proven not least by paternity leave, which did not exist until recently. Nevertheless, most fathers rarely spend the first year of their child's life alone with their little one. And maybe it's right that this is the case, because some fathers have obviously never heard of raising a child... When the cat is not at home, some new fathers "take it easy" on their children.
