A fresh Slovenian company, Damogran Labs, has presented its first project, Chaotic-Tock, on the online crowdfunding portal Indiegogo. A unique designer watch is not only unique in its shape, but also in the way it moves. The pointers are always stationary, but only the numbers rotate. But since these are also mixed or confused, they rotate in whatever direction is most appropriate at the moment.

In the Danish capital, Copenhagen, in the Christiansbro district, a newly built bridge for pedestrians and cyclists Cirkelbroen, or the so-called circular bridge, was recently opened, under which the famous Icelandic architect Olafur Eliasson signed. It is reminiscent of ships, as each of the five circular platforms has its own mast, which is a metaphor for river traffic, which here is almost as dense as bicycle traffic.
There are many so-called universal wrenches on the shelves, but no French tool has such a brilliant patent as Jordan Steranka's Aperture Wrench. The tool uses the principle of aperture in photographic lenses. And not only do you use it to reduce the "roll of" tools, with the rotary wheel on the side you can instantly set the size you need to tighten that bolt nut.
What is a good indicator of personal wealth? Car, yacht, expensive clothes? We believe that the greatest indicator of personal wealth is the home in which someone lives (or only lives occasionally). The bigger the house, the bigger the wallet. Here are the fifteen most expensive houses in the world, owned by some of the richest people in the world.
Espresso cafetiera Pulcina is the work of Michele de Lucchi and combines the technology of two Italian giants of design and coffee industry - Alessi and Illycaffè. The latter lent his knowledge of coffee preparation, while Alessi provided experience in design. And a coffee machine was born that makes coffee for the new millennium by emphasizing the organoleptic properties of coffee, i.e. the characteristics that we perceive through the mouth and nose.
As a child (at least boys), you probably had a mini basketball hoop on the door or wall. You probably wouldn't defend yourself from this kind of throwing even now, and you don't have to, but you won't do it out of sheer boredom, but because it's your duty. This does not mean that you will change your career for a basketball player, but because you will come up with Hamper Hoops, a hoop basket in the shape of a basketball hoop. Because cleaning dirty laundry is your responsibility! Men are incorrigible "pigs" like dirty laundry, which usually lies everywhere, not just in the laundry basket. Now that you can put it away like a three-pointer, it might not land anywhere but the floor. Unless, of course, you're really bad at basketball.
Luxury in London is about to get a whole new definition. A bridge will grow between two 10-story residential buildings, which will actually be a pool with a glass bottom. The so-called Sky Pool will be part of the Embassy Gardens residential complex, which is planned by the Ballymore Group in the prestigious London district near the River Thames. The sky pool will be 25 meters long and five meters wide, and will rise to a height of 35 meters. And don't worry, if you forget your bathing suit, the pedestrian bridge will run parallel to it, not just for bathers.
Every year, tourists visit the Palace of Versailles en masse - the Palace of Versailles. Modularity is one of those features that a large part of modern furniture possesses. Just like telephones (which, among other things, are already modular), furniture elements have become more (multi)practical. The Float modular chairs from the Perch design studio can also boast of their versatility (to be assembled and disassembled), which are ideal for 21st century business premises, as well as for the home environment.
Do you always feel relaxed in a Chinese restaurant? The "inaudible" ambient music that plays in the background, which imperceptibly soothes you, has many fingers in between. The A Soft Murmur website also does something similar in situations where you just can't get your act together. Namely, it offers a "mixing table" of ambient sounds with which you can recreate characteristic sounds from the environment - the sound of the sea, blowing wind, bees in a cafe, crackling fire, birdsong, white noise,... that help you stay focused.
Pile is an instant social corner that is ideal for small apartments. It is functional furniture that will allow you to entertain many more than just one or two friends even in a small home. Michael Blutrich sought a solution for such cases and created Pile, a modular piece of furniture that consists of a table, upholstered mats, horn-shaped cushions and a lamp, and which transforms from a "spit" of furniture into a pleasant atmosphere for socializing.
The market is flooded with freestanding lamps, yet it seems that rarely does one really stand out. But the Ace Floor Lamp is the (literally) bright exception that proves the rule. The stick-shaped free-standing lamp is handmade from wood and has a minimalist design, and it pours warm white light into the room with LEDs.
