For its latest Aventador LP 750-4 model, Lamborghini revived the SuperVeloce name, which otherwise belongs to a series of vehicles that push the limits of what is possible. In this regard, the Aventador LP 750-4 fully deserves this "rank". It is the fastest Lamborghini ever to leave the factory of this Italian sports car manufacturer, which, in addition to the most powerful engine (a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12), also has a bunch of other superlatives.

As a mid-range model, the new Volkswagen Passat (2015) does not need a specific introduction here, as most Slovenians know it very well. Also due to the fact that in seven generations it has convinced many satisfied customers, and the latest model still stands for a concrete sedan and station wagon of the D-segment. The eighth generation Passat was thus faced with the difficult task of filling the large shoes of its predecessor.
After months of playing hide-and-seek, Honda presented the final look of their Civic Type-R road rocket a day before its premiere at Palexpo. This in many ways sets new standards in the segment of small sports cars, and for the first time in this model we are witnessing turbocharging, which gives the 2.0-liter petrol engine additional wings and as much as 228 kW or 310 hp. With such a pedigree, the Civic is currently the fastest "hot hatch" in the segment, if we exclude the RS study Focus at Geneva.
You are all certainly familiar with Formula 1, in which Mercedes-Benz has been active for many years. Less well known is also the competition of the FIA association called GT3, for which the brand with the three-pointed star on its nose is showing its appetite. Later, the racing car was to be followed by a civil version, which with around 600 sparkly crows under the hood was supposed to "ask the pants" of the Porsche 911 GT3.
For car lovers, the first days of March are always exciting, as one of the most important events in the auto industry begins - the Geneva International Motor Show (international motor show). This year's motor show is number 85 in its 110-year history and impresses with presentations of visionary vehicles of the future and new models that will hit the roads in the coming months. We have reviewed some important innovations for you.
Volkswagen will unveil the off-road-inspired Passat alltrack in Geneva, which will get the expected off-road capability, greater ground clearance and the always standard 4motion drive. Buyers will have a choice of two gasoline TSI and three diesel 2.0 TDI engines and DSG automatic transmission. We can expect the volkswagen passat alltrack in showrooms in September.
Hyundai apparently realizes the confusion caused by the different numerical designations, so it is dropping the ix35 name and reverting to the old Tucson name, for a newcomer to the small SUV class. Tucson will be presented in detail in Geneva.
The Opel Corsa is one of the most successful city cars of all time, as it has been on the road for more than 30 years. The new generation of corsa proves that it does not make sense to excessively change old and successful recipes. With a thorough renovation, it again caught up with its competitors and even overtook them in some segments. On the test, we hosted the most interesting one with a three-cylinder 1.0 ecotec turbo engine, which is, simply put - exciting.
In a few days, Hyundai will drive the somewhat refreshed, but extremely interesting Hyundai i30, which was launched in this generation in 2012. After three years, the designers and engineers decided that it was time for some minor cosmetic corrections.
The McLaren 675 LT, which we will be able to see live for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2015, will stand out for its longer "rear end", which comes at the expense of better aerodynamics and a tribute to the F1 GTR Long model. Okay, maybe this one won't stick out as much as Jennifer Lopez, but this athlete will definitely stick out because of another trump card, because he's not only attractive on the outside, but also on the inside. It carries a V8 "basket", namely a V8 twin turbo engine is hidden under the hood.
Not Eyjafjallajökull, not Vesuvius, the most active volcano will be the new Aston Martin Vulcan. The racing car, which was named after the Roman god of fire, is so beastly that it would rather not be let out of the "cage", and it can only be driven on the racetrack. Yes, we are really not used to such extreme trips from Aston Martin, as they are more at home in prestigious sports cruisers, but they are also no strangers to supercars. But this one is the most brutal after the One-77 model, and the price is also brutal - 2.05 million euros.
The new Volkswagen Touran will be officially presented in a few days at the Geneva Motor Show. But, because volkswagen is already teasing us and increasing the tension before the official presentation, it showed us the new volkswagen touran and also announced it with the first photos. We can conclude that the new VW touran summarizes the guidelines of its brothers and thus steps into the design shoes of the last generation golf and passat, as well as the rejuvenated volkswagen sharan presented some time ago. The new Touran will hit Slovenian roads in autumn 2015.
