When Huawei launched the Mate S phone three years ago, it wasn't entirely clear what it wanted to achieve with it. Successors to the Mate 9 and last year's Mate 10 family have already better outlined the establishment of an additional family in addition to the flagship models with the P designation. However, there was still no real impact compared to the Galaxy Note and similar establishments in the big, powerful and expensive class. Now comes the Mate 20 Pro and Huawei is confident that this time they finally have a trump card that can shake the rulers.
