Nina Leen is the author of black and white photographs of celebrities with their pets on the streets of New York, which were taken in the 1940s.
Nina Leen, New York newspaper photographer LIFE, in the 40s of the last century, in addition to other interesting happenings in the city, she liked to capture actors, singers, writers and other artists who walked the streets of New York accompanied by their pets. The heartwarming series of photographs titled “City Dogs,” depicting residents of the Big Apple accompanied by their best friends, can be viewed in full at the New York gallery Daniel Cooney Fine Art until May 16.
