A particularly solemn event is being prepared in Idrija on Wednesday, December 12. The central ceremony at the handover of the document on the entry into the world heritage list will be accompanied by a rich cultural and artistic program, in which the brass band members of the Idrija Miners' Band Association, the drama actor Ivan Rupnik, soloist Neža Hladnik, the reciter Iztok Jereb, organist Merry Christmas, a dancer Iris Verbič, the conductor Domain Prezelj, connector Helena Pregelj Tušar, screenwriter Milanka Trušnovec and director Slavica Makuc Bric. On this occasion, the official delegation of the municipality of Almaden from Spain will also visit Idrija.
