Adrenaline junkies, beware! Are you tempted by cliff jumping? Jumping from a height of hundreds of meters? This is half as much as the tall Nebotičnik in Ljubljana, so much for the show. Now it's possible, just one little thing away from making the leap. 18,000 km to be exact, as it takes place on the other side of the world, in New Zealand.
The Shotover Canyon Swing, as it was called, is the highest cliff jump in the world.
Host it Queenstown, a city from the south of New Zealand. The cliff measures just under 110 meters in height, parachutes or and you will fly at speed 145 km/h. Before plunging into the depths, you'll be attached to a 200-metre cable that will hold you just above the surface of the River Shotover. You can jump in several different ways, namely you can you run down the slide, you drive off with small bikes, someone pushes you or you sit on the so-called 'chair of death', which means you sit on a plastic chair, grab onto it, and then someone pushes you over the edge of the platform.
Such a jump will cost you 250 euros. Do you dare?
