If you don't have enough space at home and would like to sit comfortably at the table in the kitchen or in the living room, the Stockholm armchair is an excellent solution. It is a fresh design idea of student Karen Naalsund. Unlike most armchairs, it has been designed to provide comfortable sitting in an upright or semi-reclining position.
A chair may look simple at first glance, but the key to complete relaxation is hidden along the sides of the chair. It is equipped with a simple wooden mechanism for adjusting the backrest.
Massive wooden frame from maple wood it gives the armchair the necessary support and stability, and the material matches the wooden mechanism, which allows the backrest to be adjusted according to need and feeling. Designer Karen Naalsund thus leaving it up to you to decide whether to use the chair as a lounge chair or in a home office, perhaps a dining room.
Stockholm Chair was recently part of the exhibition Greenhouse exhibition on Stockholm Furniture Fair, where students from Bergen Academy of Art and Design presented their works.
