The well-established Nacka Chamber Choir became famous with performances in which they performed the works of great masters such as Mozart, Brahms, Händel, Verdi and Bach. The choir has about forty singers, including top soloists and professional musicians.
The diverse and extensive musical repertoire includes both secular and sacred music in order to reach a wide audience. The a cappella program includes the texts of mostly Scandinavian choral songs. At the concert in Ljubljana, the choir will also perform works by Slovenian composer D. Močnik and works by composers K. Nystedt, H. Schütz, HM Górecki, F. Sixten, PE Lange-Müller, Morten Lauridsen, O. Lindberg and Gunnar de Frumerier.
The choir comes from the vicinity of Stockholm, from Nack. Since 1995, Per Rönnblom has been the leader of the choir.
