On Saturday, November 18, at 5:00 p.m., the children's play Peter Klepec or How do you become a real hero will premiere on the big stage of Drama. Maja Sever and Eva Kraševec wrote the dramatization based on the motifs of the legend of Peter Klepec. The well-known fairy tale about the shepherd boy who acquires miraculous strength, as well as the story by France Bevk, were the starting point for the current staging.
Peter he is a shy boy who does not know how to stand up for himself. One afternoon he runs home upset with a soccer ball under his arm and older sister Nina he immediately notices that something has happened on the field. Petrček has no interest in studying or writing homework and playing the flute, let alone reading the fairy tale about Peter Klepec, which he has for home reading - he would prefer to play a game in which he would be the real hero.
With the help of imagination and children's play, Nina takes him on a fantastic journey, and on it Petrček immerses himself in the heroic story of Petr Klepec, gains miraculous strength and even conquers his greatest fears. In the trials that follow, he learns to use his power for good and learns how puzzles can be solved on the children's playground.
