Citroën presents extraordinary stories of unique people

Being unique in a world that everyone colors in their own way has many shades and meanings. Therefore, with a socially engaged campaign, Citroën gave the floor to unique people to tell their story, and with their portraits colored the streets, which welcomed their color in the gray days of November.

V citroën you can easily fall in love, especially if you value difference, colour, bold design and a great deal of comfort. Because Citroën that's just the way it is. A bit headstrong, very nice, gentle with the driver and fellow passengers and endlessly sweet. His difference and uniqueness takes him among people who are just like that. They respect difference, diversity and uniqueness - whether we mean cars or the concept of life and our own beliefs and values.

Such people strongly attract citroën, by engraving the phrase into his signature "Inspired by You". He looks up to people who are close to these values, listens to them and listens to them with colors, ideas and solutions that are not everyday. He wants to be unique, and he is — in the world and in Slovenia. Unique for the unique.

This is how the idea for a socially responsible project was born, where people are at the heart of inspiration. Their stories encourage understanding of diversity in personal and professional life, normalize new beginnings and interesting careers. The streets were flooded with colorful posters with portraits of unique people who live and create in Slovenia, and their stories are presented on Instagram profiles @citroen.unique. They promote the idea that it is precisely the fact that everyone is good at something else that connects us. That makes us even more interesting as a whole.

He also creates his own brand of socks for fans of skateboard sports and retro fashion, Snappwear.

Janez Cetin, friend of animals

Because they respond to our emotions and actions with incredible empathy, they have tremendous therapeutic effects on people. Due to the security that the animals feel through his care, they return their affection to him by walking with him in Barje, the center of Ljubljana or even in Zagreb and Venice. He himself is well aware that a person with something different can easily arouse the surroundings. He is convinced from experience that life offers you even better opportunities if you don't give up when those around you want to stop you.

Martin Golob, pastor and vlogger

Being the first Slovenian vlogger among priests is a unique hobby and part of the mission to spread positive vibes and announcements among people. If he is an example to people with this, he has achieved his mission, he says. Although he made a different decision than his peers, it makes him happy that as a pastor he can help people in a special way. He is even closer to them with roles where he spreads his positive view of the world and mission.

Marija Lah, umbrella maker

The only one in Ljubljana and one of two in Slovenia, Marija Lah performs a unique profession. In life, you are what you fight for. Simon Mihorič is a man with a heart for animals, who dedicatedly runs the Srce za bulle association. It started with rescuing pit bulls, and to this day, she advocates for a better understanding of this breed, which she says is discriminated against based on appearance alone. How people perceive Simon is a typical response to the well-known saying "don't judge a book by its cover". Nevertheless, he goes his own way and always looks on the positive side.

Faila Pašić Bišić, defender of the underprivileged and director of the charity association UP Jesenice

Faila Pašić Bišić does not let society's stereotypes prevent her from charting her path. He says that there is no room for fear in uniqueness. Ajk Širca, street drummer

When you find a valve in your life, with which you release all the pressure and negativity accumulated over time, you find happiness, says Ajk. Playing the drums disconnects. Although it sounds completely cliché, Janža's hobby is also a profession. Shortly after she left her job, which did not make her happy, she visited the ceramic design workshop of Hana Karim, who soon after became her first mentor, and Janža her apprentice. A new world has opened up to her, and it doesn't look like she will run out of creative drive anytime soon.
