These days, Citroën HY, the car pig, as it was called, celebrates 70 years. As a tribute to the revolutionary delivery vehicle designed by Flaminio Bertoni, David Obendorfer and Fabrizio Caselani have presented a modern version of the legendary model, which will be sold in a limited edition.
A modern version of the legendary Citroën HY model, Citroën Type H 70th Anniversary, is based on the model's chassis and equipment Citroën Jumper.

Nickname car pig you are Citroën HY, also a vehicle with a thousand purposes - with conversions it could be used by practically everyone, from craftsmen, traders, travelers to rescuers -, earned due to its stocky exterior, ribbed bodies and piggy nose. He grew up on the lawn of the Italian car designer Flaminius Bertoni, who wanted to produce mainly practical, but not so much nice vehicle.
And it was precisely because of its difference that we fell in love with it. Citroën's van is still a legend today, and part of that romance has now been revived with a modern version David Obendorfer and Fabrizio Caselani, which did not try to copy the appearance of the original, but to capture the soul of the famous vehicle made of glass fibers. They will only produce 70 specimens – they will be a mixture retro style and modern technologies that Jumper possesses - which will be sold exclusively in Italy.
