Immediately after its arrival on the Slovenian market, we took it for a ride through the city streets and were simply impressed. We are sure that the e-solex will continue the tradition of its gasoline predecessor not only in a similar design, but also in its practicality. The test version was additionally equipped with special Pletenin Draž knitted covers for the seat and pedals, which will only be available to Slovenian buyers for an additional fee. The driver soon feels at home behind the e-Solex steering wheel, the change of brake levers may be a little annoying, as the front brake is activated on the right instead of the rear one. Acceleration is fast, only when driving uphill it needs a little help with the pedals. The blue-illuminated digital display shows speed, mileage and battery charge status, which is sufficient for 1.5 hours of autonomy and charges up to 100 % in 8 hours. An indicator of turned on turn signals and an indicator of a mobile phone call are also built into it. The lower display is for the clock. Above the first wheel, where the motorcycle used to be, there is now a locked box for storing small items, which in design resembles the characteristic shape of the former motorcycle. The list of additional equipment includes a front basket, a rear case and turn signals. The E-Solex can be charged with electricity or via the socket under the seat, or by removing the battery from the locked frame and charging it, for example, in the office. Removing the battery is a little more difficult at first when it is still new. What we've been missing is a built-in solution for locking the scooter; the contact lock does not prevent thieves from driving off with the help of the pedals.
