About City Magazine - The nation's largest freebie for the urban population.
City Magazine is the biggest lifestyle magazine intended for both sexes. It is free and in printed edition achieves extraordinary circulation (70,000 copies) with distribution over more than 450 collection points throughout Slovenia. It has been online since September 2013 present with a renewed portal and during this time managed to achieve a leading position among the portals in the field lifestyle topics intended for both sexes. It is also regularly ranked among 25 the most visited Slovenian media by measurement MOSS, with a range of approx 110.000 of various Slovenian internet users, what it represents 7,40 % all online populations.
Plans for future they are big and they go in the direction of excellence and the development of new content. For this reason, we invite masters of words, and especially journalists with a heart, to join our ranks as external collaborators.
Editorial expectations;
Editorial philosophy City Magazine is different from the philosophies of classic publishing houses. That's why we don't expect classics profiles, but profiles of colleagues who will build and co-create the brand with their energy, enthusiasm and love for creation City Magazine, impressed the online crowds as well as the crowds of readers of our printed editions. We do not condition cooperation on education, so we prioritize the individual's interest in working in a certain area of his interest.
You master a subject. Not a day goes by that I don't follow her. Do you know what is beautiful and aesthetic? Do you simply want to be the best in your field?
We believe, that there are such individuals among us. Individuals who are able to shape trends, look for innovations, create them and in this way educate and inform the public.
Expected skills:
- CMS / Working with CMS systems, it is not a requirement, but it is desirable to enter articles on the website (WordPress)
- Working in the cloud - Google Drive, the Google text editor "Documents, spreadsheets", working with cloud solutions and applications.
- Photo processing / Editing and corrections, design, cropping of photos (Photoshop, other).
- Impeccable knowledge of Slovenian literary language.
- Ideation, innovation, progressiveness.
- Knowledge of the basics of social networks and the administration of social online channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter).
Way of working: independently from home with weekly editorial meetings at the headquarters of Mestne revije doo, Šmartinska cesta 106, 1000 Ljubljana.
Form of work: copyright contract, sp, student or other status, ...
Payment: monthly depending on the scope of work performed (amount) and responsibilities, stimulation depending on the success of the content and independence.
