American programmer Virgil Griffith prepared a spreadsheet where he presented the relationship between different musical genres (bands) popular among students, and intelligence quotients measured on the SAT exams. In his research, he helped himself with Facebook, where he came up with data which musicians students who participated in the research, they like most of the time.
The results are: those who listen Radiohead and Beethoven, are smarter than those who listen Beyoncé and Bon Jovi. Those who listen are also among the smarter ones Coldplay, U2, Sufjan Stevens and Counting Crows.
