The inspiration of classic aesthetics combined with modern technology. Gramovox is the first turntable powered by Bluetooth technology.
The innovative device found its foundation in the famous Magnavox R3 turntable from 1920. The modern version delivers vintage sound via Bluetooth connectivity that reaches up to 10 meters away. A replica of a metal horn, made with the help of a 3D printer, is seductively placed on a minimalist pedestal made of walnut or maple wood, which hides a custom-made printed circuit board with Bluetooth 3.0. In cooperation with the indie music group Fort Frances, the creators also prepared the first demo soundtrack. Gramovox thus evokes the nostalgia of listening to slightly crackling melodies in the warmth of a group gathering.
Currently, the project is collecting funds for further implementation on the popular start-up page Kickstarter, where you can also place a pre-order.
