What are the walls of your home like? Are they dirty? How to clean dirty walls?

When renovating your home, the first step is frequent cleaning dirty walls, which represent the foundation for aesthetics and comfort in our living room. Despite regular home cleaning, the walls are often overlooked, even though they represent one of the largest surfaces in the home.

Over time, the walls, regardless of their original color, they lose their shine and turn gray, especially when exposed to smoke or indoor smoking. Painting walls is one of the most common methods of interior design. Restoration of old paint is a special challenge that requires a thoughtful selection of new shades, coordinated with the existing decoration.

The painting process not only brings freshness and new energy to the room, but also provides an opportunity for expression of personal style and aesthetic preferences. Restoration or changing the old color can serve as an opportunity to enter the new color worlds, which better reflect current trends or personal changes.

Always before every cleaning use a clean cloth. If the cloth has already been used, wash it with powder only and not fabric softener before use. Also prepare a bucket or container for the cleaning agent. Also, keep an absorbent terry cloth towel handy to wipe the wall thoroughly.

Always start cleaning a dirty wall from top to bottom

To remove stains such as marks from dirty hands, feet or shoes, use a clean microfiber cloth moistened with water. Add a little for extra effectiveness of alcoholic vinegar. The ratio between water and alcoholic vinegar should be 1:1. This mixture is also effective in removing greasy stains, but you can also add lemon juice to it, which dissolves the grease.

More stubborn stains remove with a mixture of water, ammonia, vinegar and baking soda. Apply the stain gently, then wipe the surface with a dry cloth.

On the walls of the children's room traces of ballpoint pen, ink or felt-tip pens often appear, you can try to remove such stains with hairspray. Spray it on a clean cloth, rub it on the stain and then gently remove it. In some cases, ethanol or acetone are also effective, with which you soak a piece of clean cotton wool and gently wipe the stain with it.

If you are not satisfied with the cleaning results, you can still start whitening.
