The Coca Cola brand and musician Will.i.am have jointly developed a 3D printer that uses recycled plastic bottles to print objects.
A new 3d printer called Ecocycle is a product of brand collaboration Coca Cola and musicians Will.i.am-om, who this time took on the role of chief creative editor in a technology company 3D Systems.
˝As a society, we create an unimaginable amount of waste every year, and a large percentage of this waste is occupied by plastic. And this very material can now be easily reused and transformed into jewelry, vases, shoes and other objects with the help of a new printer," said Will.i.am in the promotional video.
The company 3D systems decided to cooperate with the famous musician because they want to popularize 3d printing technology. They believe that in the near future we will all have easy access to these types of printers, and we will prefer to print items rather than buy them.
