Cofestival

Co, Cofe or Cofestival is a merger of three contemporary dance festivals. Which we followed in previous years as Modul-dance, Action or Pleskavica, we will this time as a festival of coexistence. Good cooperation is generally desirable, and in the case of such a festival there is a possibility that due to the rich program we will manage to overlook some of its parts. The festival will take place until September, but quite a few highlights will take place in the following days. The opening performance of the group La Veronal deals with the body. They are certainly not the only ones dealing with this material, but they present it as a material of Italian art throughout the centuries. We have all been inspired by Michelangelo or Pasolini, and the La Veronal group will show us their works through the fragility, vulnerability and fascination with the material that is ourselves. The next highlight of the festival in June, Lil'Dragon, will take us to a completely different environment, bringing together an aging star of the Royal Cambodian Ballet, a hip-hop dancer and a group of children. It is not difficult to imagine the refreshing strangeness on stage through which Eric Mihn Cuong Castaing intertwines different artistic disciplines, challenging us to see our habits from a different perspective. The events will not only be shaped by performances, as on June 18 we have a movie night, on June 19 the Slovenia Crowdfunding party in Bikofe, and on June 21 Fičodrom and a summer party with selected DJs. The Festival of Coexistence does not complete its mission with June, as a little less than ten events await us in the second half of September.
