The headscarf collection: Hirst and McQueen rocked skulls

Damien Hirst Alexander McQueen

What happens when the two most famous skull lovers decide to collaborate?

An exclusive was revealed today, November 15 a collection of scarves two great names in British art and design. The leading motive of the project is, of course skull, because exactly ten years have passed since the McQueen fashion shows appeared as a motif on scarves and became a trademark of the fashion brand.

In a collaborative project, they decided to combine the skull with Hirst's Entomology series. Hirst's insects also inspired the designer Miuccio Prada, who created handbags "decorated" with apparently popular insects.
