A colorful collection of Converse footwear with historical significance

Cult footwear maker Converse has teamed up with Hudson's Bay for the new fall collection, serving up stunning new Jack Purcell sneaker designs.

They used blankets in this special edition Five Points, these soft, green, red, yellow and indigo blue quilts with historical significance. Jack Purcell was a Canadian badminton player in the 1930s who designed special sports shoes for badminton. Their specialty was heavy rubber, which enabled faster movement on the court. Even then, they became popular among young, fashion-conscious rebels, and the new collection, which has brightened up the current season, is also aimed at this.
