The Belgrade kings of rock and roll Partibrejkers, led by the indestructible frontman Canet, are returning to Šiška, where two years ago they held a superb party to promote the album Sirotinjsko carstvo. The younger generation of Serbian rock and roll will be represented by the plucky trio Vizelj with that special charm that distinguished Šarlo Akrobata and early Azra.
We really have to imagine Partibrejkers? The icons of the Balkan music scene are in almost 40 years existence provided unforgettable anthems and hits of Yugoslavia, such as I want to know, Move towards me and 1000 years. They played an extraordinary number of concerts, including historical milestones, two post-war comeback concerts in Novi Sad and Tašmajdan in Belgrade, and one of the most important moments of their career, the performance with Chuck Berry in Zagreb. With their intense blues rock and activist attitude, they made a mark in the musical history of our region as pure legends and a band that each of us should see at least once in our lifetime.
