The Slovenian-Croatian duo 2Cellos (Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser) achieved world fame after their cover of Jackson's Smooth Criminal was viewed by more than a million viewers on YouTube. But 2Cellos also have Elton John in their fan base, who has supported them since the beginning of their career. After the Ljubljana performance, the energetic duo is returning to Slovenia again - on August 18, they will perform at the Portorož Auditorium, and they promise visitors the unexpected.
A then 26-year-old student in London, Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser, a few days after posting their video on the Internet, they received a call that turned their lives upside down. Dean of a prestigious academy Royal Academy of Music he watched their video and mentioned it to probably the most famous student of this academy at a charity concert - To Elton John. Namely, Elton was above the composition of the duo 2 Cellos excited and wanted to get in touch with them as soon as possible. On the same day when the dean called Luka to his office, Elton John himself contacted him.
