Frank Turner is returning to Slovenia, who impressed again in the summer of 2015 with his completely fresh, sixth album, Positive Songs for Negative People. He has already left his mark on the world's biggest stages - from the opening of the Olympic Games to a sold-out concert at Wembley Stadium. We will be able to listen to him in the Šiška Cinema at the beginning of April.
First steps Frank Turner were made in a band Kneejerk, and later joined the well-known group Million Dead, with which he released two albums that impressed music critics. After the breakup of the group in 2005, he turned his punk expression into softer melodies with a wide range - if a decade ago he barely filled small bars, today his folk rock compositions fill stadiums, clubs and festivals. They carry the lyrics a lyrical yet critical undertone, which is a result of Frank's unbridled punk attitude.

The reason for the successful concerts must lie in the fourth album England Keep My Bones, which sold more than 100,000 copies and climbed to the top of the music charts. But Frank Turner didn't rest on his laurels, which we already had the opportunity to experience when he was working on the album Tape Deck Heart presented to the Slovenian audience and - not unexpectedly given the excellent performance - impressed. It was on the fifth album that he embarked on a thorough questioning of his intimate world, which brought unexpected successes and Frank's global visibility.
With the new, sixth album, you can feel it love of English folk heritage and at the same time Frank's personal, since the compositions are quieter, more intimate, but as always positive. There is also a metaphorical replay of thoughts about failed love relationships and loud concerns about life decisions.
