Bluesman Zucchero is returning to Slovenia next year, spoiling the Italian and world music scene with his passionate music, unforgettable duets and exceptional stage presence. We will be able to see and hear him in Stožice on October 8 next year.
Adelmo Fornaciari, which is his nickname Zucchero assigned by a teacher in elementary school, was born in 1955. In his musical career, he managed to achieve international visibility, and collaborations with big musical names as well as his own contributed to his success a unique stage presence, which completely enchants the audience every time.
Zucchero entered the world of music in the seventies, and he achieved his first notable successes with the band Taxi. After conquering his domestic audience, it was time to expand onto the international scene, and in 1991 he did so with the song Senza una donna/Without the Woman, which was recorded by Paul Young.

This was followed by duets with world-renowned musicians such as Sting, Luciano Pavarotti, BB King, Tom Jones, Andrea Bocelli, Elton John, Eric Clapton and Bonus.
The red thread of Zuccher's work remains love of the blues. In more than 30 years of musical activity, he has released 24 albums, sold through 60 million records around the world, received numerous awards and even earned a nomination for a prestigious award grammy.
