Julian Casablancas, American musician and frontman of the rock band The Strokes, will perform together with The Voidz on June 8 at Tvornica Kulture in Zagreb
Julian Casablancas he is of course best known as the band's lead vocalist The Strokes. Their debut Is This It (2001) heralded the return of true garage rock and the album is rightly considered the flagship guitar album of the beginning of the new millennium. To date, The Strokes have released five studio albums and with all the ups and downs, remained one of the biggest and most important rock bands of today.
Julian Casablancas released a solo album in 2009 Phrases For The Young, and in 2013 collaborated with Daft Punk on a great track Instant Crush.

Connected through different musical preferences and friends in New York and Los Angeles, Julian Casablancas + The Voidz they have been working as a band for the past four years. Their debut album was born out of a love for rhythmic, aggressive and somewhat avant-garde music, filled with modern and singing melodies, elegant colors and infinity Tyranny (2014). The Voidz lead and direct most of the time frontman and singer Julian Casablancas, with whom the band also consists of Jeramy Gritter (guitar), Amir Yaghmai (guitar), Alex Carapetis (drums), Jeff Kite (keyboards) and Jake Bercovici (bass).
