At an extended concert in Ljubljana, the band Laibach will present the album The Sound of Music, the idea for which arose when the group was invited to North Korea in 2015. It contains songs from the musical My Songs, My Dreams and arrangements of Korean folk songs.
Album The Sound of Music received enthusiastic reviews upon its release: the reviews were mdr. published in reputable global publications such as Guardian, Independent and Rolling Stone, New York Times International and he even published an article about the album's release on his front page. The Sound of Music was ranked among the top fifty (The Quietus) or between the best twenty-five (Louder Than War) albums of 2018. Besides Marine Martensson and Boris Benko they will be joined on stage by a children's choir Edelweiss and a string sextet Do-Re-Mi under the baton of Primož Hladnik, and he will initially address the audience to worship Peter Mlakar.
