At the end of August, the world-conquering American indie rockers Local Natives, who have already had the opportunity to perform with Arcade Fire and The National, are coming to Kino Šiška. Directly after the performance at the prestigious Lollapalooza festival, we will present the best of the best from the albums Gorilla Manor and this year's Hummingbird. California indie rockers Local Natives they drew attention to themselves with their debut Gorilla Manor (2009) and immediately won a place in the preliminary groups Arcade Fire and The National. The latent folk undertones of their band and convincing live performances brought them on the stages of the biggest festivals around the world.

Their second album Hummingbird it's a musical petri dish of happenings inside and outside the band. The songs are caught between the dichotomy of fragile and powerful, tense and relaxed, to which Aaron Dessner from The National also contributed as a collaborator. After the performance at the Lollapalooza festival, the premiere performance of the exceptional Local Natives is expected in Slovenia on the stage of Kina Šiška in Ljubljana.
