The cult British musician, frontman and mastermind of the Smiths is also coming to Vienna as part of his tour in October.
When we talk about To Steven Patrick Morrissey, we first recall his brief period in British indie pop attraction The Smiths, in which he is together with an excellent guitarist Johnny Marr formed one of the greatest creative duos in the history of popular music.
Morrissey, who already counts fifty-five seasons and has recordings behind him fourteen albums (individually and with the group The Smiths), hasn't changed much throughout all these years (keel down, kela up, one wrinkle more, one hair less...). Sentimental, romantic and gentle, Mozza can turn into a roaring, wild beast in an instant. His baritone becomes even more raspy and uniquely unmistakable over the years.
World Peace Is None Of Your Business is ten in Morrissey's independent discography - a convincing album, once again whitewashed with sarcasm and barbs aimed at human ghosts, deceptions, political tensions and similar bitterness that pop culture doesn't even remove anymore.
