The stars of the original "Buena Vista" Omara Portuondo, Eliades Ochoa, Guajiro Mirabal, Barbarito Torres, Jesus "Aguaje" Ramos, united at the top of today's Cuban music scene, after sixteen years of successful international tours and enthusiastic listeners, say goodbye with the world tour Adios Tour. They will also stop by Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana on June 23rd.
Composition Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club®, which has performed in various lineups and combinations since 1997, will perform in the 2014/15 season set off for the last time. Under the musical direction of orchestra leader and trombonist Jesus “Aguaje” Ramos, the tour will be joined by some of the original members of the orchestra who participated on the original album and film Buena Vista Social Club, among others: a singer and guitarist wearing a cowboy hat Eliades Ochoa, the unsurpassed diva Portuondo cabinet, trumpeter Guajiro Mirabal and song master Lauda Barbarito Torres.

They will be accompanied on stage by the artists who joined the orchestra joined during the years, such as: the legendary energetic artist on the string instrument tres Papi Oviedo; young star pianist from Havana Rolando Luna; excellent rhythm section: double bass player Pedro Pablo and percussionists Andres Coayo (conga), Filiberto Sánchez (peacocks) and Alberto “La Noche” (bongo); three trumpet players led by treble specialist Luis Allemany and a famous Cuban-style singer a dream from Havana Carlos Calunga and Idania Valdéz.
