British psychedelics The Horrors will perform in Slovenia for the first time this year. On December 1st, they will present their fifth studio album V, their first new material in three years, at Kino Šiška.
A group of five The Horrors has its place in the island indie flourished at the beginning of the millennium with colorful, ultra-natrated psychedelia, imbued with warm sound coloration and cold post-punk edginess, as well as with a respectful tribute to the ages, such as The Jesus and Mary Chain and The Cure. That it's not just a fad is proven by four excellent, critically acclaimed albums such as Skiing and Primary Colors - the latter produced by Portishead's Geoff Barrow and hailed by NME as one of the best of all time - which charted high in the UK and elsewhere.
Success carried the group around the world, including the most famous festivals such as Glastonbury, ATP, Reading and Leeds, and the bands Arctic Monkeys, Florence + the Machine and Depeche Mode, among others, invited them to the tour.
