Saul Hudson or Slash, the lead guitarist of the hard rock band Guns'n'Roses, is one of those musicians who can safely be called a rock icon and a man whose guitar has influenced generations and generations of musicians and fans. After selling out Ljubljana's Halo Tivoli the year before last, he is returning to Zagreb this time on June 26.
"Riff Lord", as called by Metal Hammer, a member Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, an Esquire Award winner "Best Guitarist" and one of the top ten electric guitar players according to Time magazine – these are just some of the accolades he has received Slash received in his career. And that's why some of the greatest moments in modern music that Slash unleashed on the crowd with his Gibson Les Paul guitar are responsible for: the "riff" from Sweet Child O' Mine was declared by Total Guitar as the greatest in history, solo v Paradise City is in third place, and the list also includes solos and "riffs" from classics such as Welcome To The Jungle, November Rain, You Could Be Mine, Slither, By The Sword and many others. And precisely these songs, the encyclopedia of rock that Slash created in Guns'n'Roses, Snakepit, Velvet Revolver and the current line-up, where he is accompanied by the brilliant Myles Kennedy (from the band Alter Bridge) and The Conspirators, along with the inevitable black top hat on curly hair, will be heard at the Šalata stadium in Zagreb. The more than two-hour program spans three and a half decades of a turbulent career that began in Los Angeles in the early 1980s.
