The Star Time Playboys are an instrumental trio whose music combines country jazz, western swing, rockabilly, surf rock and jump blues. They are the brainchild of the young twenty-two-year-old guitarist Urban Zotl, who is rhythmically supported by his brothers Grega (drums) and Boštjan Copek (double bass).
Group The Star Time Playboys was formed at the end of 2015 and after a few concerts decided to go to the studio and record some songs. The first one I'm Surfish was released on Easter Day 2016. Their debut release It's Star Time! saw the light already in the summer of the same year. It was presented for the first time at an Austrian festival Rollin' Dudes, where they shared the stage with The Lonesome Drifters (Germany) and Polecats (Great Britain).

Performances at Rockin' Riviera Weekender, In croatia Vintage Zagreb, and soon after, Urban went to America, where he met his idols TK Smith (ex Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Trio), Junior Watson, Kid Ramos and Tommy Harkendirder (The Memphis Kings) and winning their favor with his playing.
The concert in Soho will be their first concert in Ljubljana after almost a year. In addition to the 'oldies', you will also be able to hear some newer ones on it unheard original compositions, who can't wait to catch the day.
