People who they help in personal growth, are key here. These people are in our inner circle of friends and family. We have the most profound conversations with them and when we are sad, they comfort us a little just by being by our side.

People who look like us are in our lives for a big reason. Such people they know how to understand us best at key moments (and we them), but at the same time they show us a mirror, which can often be painful for us. It is difficult to face parts of ourselves that we don't like, but this is a key developmental task for every human being.

These people are in our lives to be learn to protect ourselves and set clear boundaries for others. This is not easy for many individuals, especially when it is necessary to set boundaries with people who mean a lot to us. Although dealing with people who cross boundaries is by no means pleasant, it can be an important learning situation. We must be careful not to persist in a relationship if it is harmful to our psychological well-being.
