Surfing is one of the most dangerous sports in the world. Athletes involved in riding big sea waves are exposed to many dangers at any given time. Despite this, they continue to push the limits of what is possible with their extraordinary achievements.
In contrast to ordinary mortals, who are usually afraid of high waves, surfers still enjoy them. With a great deal of courage, they face the rolling sea and forget all that they are risking by doing so. The joy after a successfully completed task is therefore all the greater.
Last November, the Brazilian surfer was on the water To Rodrigo Koxa managed something that no one before him had done. In Portugal, when he was walking, he was 24 meter high wave, set a world record that was last weekend officially recognized.
So far, the record has been held Garrett McNamara, who successfully coped with a wave several decimeters lower in 2011.
Koxa described winning the title as the best day of his life. His profile on the Instagram social network reveals that surfing on high sea waves really excites him. Of course, he also shared with the public a video of the record-breaking achievement he recorded Carlos Muriongo.
With their exploits, surfers risk their lives every time. But if they enjoy it and don't do it just for the sake of entering the Guinness Book of Records, we can't blame them for anything bad.
