The cult vespa scooter as an electric segway

The Vespa is one of the most recognizable and legendary scooters on the road. Due to its uniqueness, the Segway - an electric means of transport on two wheels - is also recognizable.

At a Catalan company White & White they decided to combine the two models and that's how we got "Zero Scooter" or "Segway Vespa". The strange but cute vehicle, which will provide a lot of surprised looks, is based on the Segway PT model, first introduced in 2001, and modified with original parts obtained from Piaggio & Co. S.p.A. With one electric charge of the lithium battery, it provides a range of 35 kilometers with a maximum possible speed of 32 km/h.

The vehicle has a load capacity of 180kg and is said to be the only vehicle of its kind to overcome hills up to a 30 degree gradient (at a speed of 20 km/h) and perform 360 degree turns in place, thanks to two 1.34 horsepower motors. The designers claim that it is easier to use than a regular Segway, as it does not move or it tilts when a person climbs it for the first time, but you can master it after only 10 minutes of riding.
The selling price of the "Zero Scooter" is €2,899. After pre-order, it takes about 15 days to make, but the company needs about 6 weeks from order to delivery.

Among other things, at Expo electric Barcelona 2013, the company Bel & Bel presented an office chair with Vespa parts and an interesting two-seater in the form Seat 600, which also provides lighting for the room with its headlights.
