Many dog owners are skeptical about whether it is acceptable for their dogs to sleep with them in bed. There are many pluses and minuses, but more on that another time. How and where dogs sleep, says a lot about them. If they sleep on the side, they only took a nap. If they rolled into a ball (they inherited this sleeping position from their ancestors), means that they are either insecure (so they are sleeping in an unfamiliar territory where they may feel threatened), or they think they will have to get up quickly.
