Dacia Duster: the renovation is still somewhat obvious

As we wrote recently, the Dacia Duster has been completely redesigned. The essence of the Duster has remained unchanged, it still has outstanding off-road capabilities and maintains an affordable price. Duster is no longer so spartan, but has matured and offers more comfort and practicality than ever before.

The most notable acquisitions of the new Dacia Duster found in the new electric progressive power steering, which can now be adjusted in height and depth. Among the safety systems, we have available warnings for vehicles in the blind spot, a system for controlling driving down and uphill and 4 cameras, which come in handy when parking or more demanding off-road driving. The design has touched the back part the most, where we have express 4-part lights, which will become a kind of trademark of the Dacia brand. The Duster will be available in nine colors, of which two are new and at the same time promotional. That's them Orange Atacama and beige Dune.

Even more than the exterior, the Duster's interior has been redesigned. It now has automatic climate control and the touchscreen MEDIA NAV system has been moved higher and is now noticeable easier to use. The central console has completely new so-called "piano" keys, and other buttons have also been changed. The steering wheel is now thicker and adjustable in several directions. It is also completely new shift lever gearbox. Duster has it available 4 new upholstered and all-new seats that have more resilient foam, better lumbar support and an all-new frame.

The new Dacia Duster has the same dimensions as its predecessor almost to the millimeter, and the off-road capabilities have not changed at all because of this. The entrance angle is 30°, and the exit angle is 34°. The new Duster is powered by the already familiar engines that we encountered in the previous generation. Diesel engines with volume 1.5 liters they have honey 90 and 110 horsepower, gasoline with volume 1,2 respectively 1.6 liters and honey 115 and 125 horsepower. Motors are possible combine with two-wheelers or four-wheel drive and manually or an automatic EDC gearbox. A factory converted LPG version is also available liquefied gas, which has 1.6-liter gasoline engine and 115 horsepower.

Dacia Duster is available with three equipments and it costs from 12,990 euros up to 18,290 euros. Also available is the Duster, which is registered as a light commercial vehicle and has 1.5 liter diesel engine with 110 horsepower. Its retail price with tax and four-wheel drive is 17,490 euros, with drive on only the front pair of wheels 15,290 euros.
