Dance as fashion: H&M Move presents a dance collection you'll want to wear outside the studio

For everyone who swears by style – even while stretching.

If there’s ever a time when we want to wear something that’s stylish, comfortable and ready to move – it’s now. Fall 2025 brings a new aesthetic that’s a fusion of fashion, movement and personal expression. And H&M Move has captured that moment perfectly with the new SoftMove™ collection, inspired by the world of contemporary dance – but without the pursuit of perfection. Instead, it celebrates the fluidity, femininity and confidence that comes when you finally dress for yourself.

Whether you're honing your moves in the ballet hall, doing yoga at dawn, or just dancing around the living room with a bun on your head - this H&M Move collection is made for you. The hazy purple color (which is a serious competitor to black this year) and thoughtful layering create a look that is not just sporty. It is fresh, modern, seductive - and does nothing to hide the fact that comfort is the new category of luxury.

New collection: Dance poetry in the form of clothes

In a flood of sportswear that screams logos and too much compression, H&M Move brings the opposite with its new collection: easy elegance with an undertone of power. SoftMove™ is not just the name of the material, but the feeling – as if you were moving on clouds, but still with awareness of your own posture. The clothes are made not to force, but to accompany. And this is where their power lies.

The main advantage of the collection is the variety of textures and silhouettes. Functional sports tops with gentle straps, they are ideal for movement that is not necessarily strenuous, but is still conscious. High-waisted leggings, classic or flared, gently hug the silhouette and elongate it – perfect for morning yoga or coffee afterwards. For those more into layering than sweating, the collection brings oversized jogger pants, wrap cardigans, and long sleeves with bare shoulders, which create a feeling of unobtrusive seduction.

All of this is rounded off by a palette that is downright cinematic: gentle hazy purple leads a colorful story, complemented by silent mauve, pink with a hint of dawn, cream white and of course eternal black. Combine as you are inspired – there are no rules here. Just movement.

Matilda Fleberg: When style and movement become one

The brand invited a choreographer to interpret the collection Matilda Fleberg, whose movement is so expressive that she could carry a cardboard box – and still look chic. But this time she got something better: a collection that moves with her, as if it were part of her body. In a series of visually powerful social media shots, Matilda and her team of dancers show how every movement – even the most mundane – can become a fashion moment.

Her approach is not only aesthetic, but also socially engaged: she highlights dancers from her community, who proudly wear clothes intended not only for professionals, but for anyone who wants to move with style.

H&M Move: Movement is the new fashion

H&M Move has been proving for several seasons that sportswear can be more than just equipment – it’s an extension of personal expression. The SoftMove™ collection further confirms this. It’s not about fitness clothes – it’s about clothes for a life on the move. For those times when you don’t want to explain whether you’re going to a workout or brunch. When you’re just – you.

The brand remains true to its mission: to make movement possible for everyone. And if that movement is wrapped in pastel elegance and stretchy materials, all the better.

Dance in every step

The new H&M Move SoftMove™ collection is more than just another fall activewear line. It's an invitation to move, not defined by reps or calories, but by feeling. Soft, feminine and confident – as if made for all those moments when you don't want to choose between style and comfort.

The collection will be available from October 9, 2025 in selected stores H&M and online. We recommend: click quickly before the TikTok generation snatches it up.
