This year's Carnival Sunday brings the first Latin dance in masks to the stage of the GH Union's great hall on February 15. Musicians that we have listened to in packed Križanka in past years will perform. The title of the event Tribute to Celia Cruz & Tito Puente says enough about the musical content provided by the queen of salsa Celia and Tito, the founder of Latin-jazz.
They will be presented by musicians who have performed a lot with the two giants during their careers: Alfredo De La Fé is a leading violinist in Latin-jazz and salsa, singer Frankie Morales performed in Tito's orchestra for 10 years, Patty Padilla but there is a new star among the Colombian singers who will lend her voice to the queen of salsa in the film about the life of Celia Cruz. Of course, there will be no shortage of Latin dance standards, such as Oye Como Va, Besame Mucho, Guantanamera, Mi Salsa Pa Los Rumberos... and therefore all those who love to dance should not be missing!
