At the beginning of February, Cankar's home will once again turn into a temple of health for three days with the DAO YAH event. The event, which is based on the dissemination of knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, Indian (Ayurvedic) medicine and homeopathy, will this time take a closer look at the physical and mental changes that accompany different periods of life.
DAO YAH is one of those events that will inspire anyone with a passion for learning about alternative types of healing, such as traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine and homeopathy. This year's festival has a subtitle Life periods and health and will therefore focus on physical and mental problems and changes at different stages of life.
Visitors will be able to listen to lectures in the halls and on the open stage, they will be able to visit sales and exhibition stands with certified products and services, take part in yoga, tai chi and qi gong workshops, and find gourmet delights in the vegan restaurant. There are also thematic concerts.

The topics of the lectures are already known
Among other things, we will be able to listen to interesting lectures on the following topics: immune-allergological causes of diseases in children, health and sexual energy, dream birth, oleotherapy, aromatherapy, neurohormonal imbalance in different periods of life, hormone yoga, andro- and menopause, natural solutions for the most insidious problems of the 21st century and more.
Ayurveda consultant and one of the initiators of this festival Biljana Dušič, dr. med., said about illnesses: "The mind and the body form a whole - anything harmful that happens in the body or mind affects health. Most people in Western civilization today associate old age with illness, dependence on others, and the passing of beauty and joy. Age doesn't have to be like that. If from youth we knew how to listen to our inner voice of the soul and the needs of the body, then in old age we can radiate health and the inner beauty of wisdom."

And a short explanation of the name of the festival Dao Yah. The word DAO in Chinese means the way and is synonymous with Chinese medicine, while YAH represents the initials of the words yoga, ayurveda and homeopathy.
