David Troquier – a cartoonist who mixed comic book illustrations with reality

French illustrator David Troquier decided to combine the two worlds. Comic and real. He did it similar to what the animators did in the music video for Norwegian group A-ha's Take On Me, except in a static format and with more interaction between them.

David Troquier is its own comic book illustrations ostensibly freed from the shackles of paper and moved them into the real world. Thus, he breathed into them a new life, gave them a new meaning, a meaning that goes beyond the artistic. It is a fusion of two parallel worlds, theirs interaction, where illustrations are no longer just "dead lines on paper", but a kind of intervention.
