The fear of dentists can soon be removed from the list of phobias, as London scientists have discovered a way that encourages teeth to heal themselves. The classic process of removing decay, which requires drilling, drugs, composite resin or amalgam, is supposed to be replaced by the drug EAER (Electrically Accelerated and Enhanced Remineralisation), thus sending dental drills and needles to the museum.
The revolutionary drug will not only put out the fire, but accelerate it naturally movement of calcium and phosphate minerals in erupted teeth. Of course, it will not be possible to completely avoid a visit to the dentist, because someone has to take professional care of a damaged tooth, but the fear that so often discourages us from regular checkups will no longer take us as far as Sapramiške. As the professor says Nigel Pitts (King's College London) the treatment will be divided into two phases. It will be in the first painless prepared the tooth enamel (enamel) in the first, and in this part of the tooth in the second weak electric current sent a mineral battalion.
While it is current method treatment destructive, as it only sweeps the problem under the dental filling and thus does not contribute to the restoration of the tooth, the new method is not only kinder to the teeth, but also in the same price range as its predecessor.
