A group that marked the music of the eighties, nineties and the new millennium is coming to Zagreb, and the guys are still leaving their mark on music history. Depeche Mode started their musical journey in the late seventies. A singer Dave Gahan and he joined them in 1980, when he was heard singing David Bowie's song Heroes in an open jam session. The line-up has remained more or less the same over the years, with a few changes. They turned from a student group into a world-famous and recognized group that "curved" forty hits that entered the world music charts. Their music has left a mark and inspiration on my generation, but the guys create music in accordance with the times and are always in step with it. So many of us dance to hits like Playing the Thruth, Personal Jesus, It's No Good, Strangelove, People Are People, Enjoy the Silence, I Feel You, Condemnation, Dream On, I Feel Loved and many others. This year they released their thirteenth studio album, called it Delta Machine, and went on tour. The nearest stop to us will be in Zagreb. Their concerts are considered to be a special experience. They always provide interesting scenography and excellent stage presence. And of course for plenty of good music.
