This year in California promises to be an event worthy of all the attention, money, effort and enthusiasm of rockers around the world. On October 7 at sunrise, the legendary Bob Dylan will open the Coachella Valley Desert Trip Festival, the first and only event of its kind. After his performance, he will be followed as equals by The Rolling Stones, Neil Young and Paul McCartney will impress the next day, and The Who and Roger Waters will join forces on the last day.
The event that after Woodstock by no means has many rivals, it is the result of secret negotiations and meetings under the watchful eye of Paul Tollett, CEO of Goldenvoice. Two years ago, Paul made a list of bands that he would play as part of the festival Desert Trip wanted to unite under the roof of one stage. He traveled the world, attended their concerts and slowly introduced them to his idea. The hardest move, he says, was convincing the first band to join the project (he doesn't want to reveal which of the six gods of rock and roll it was).

He managed to convince six of the best rock bands, and so the lucky ones will be among them October 7-9 and October 14-16 in California heard live. The price of a three-day ticket ranges from 399 to 1599 $, while a one-day ticket will be available from 199 $ onwards. If you add the price of a round trip ticket to California, it's not a small amount of money by any means, but on the other hand, when will we ever get to experience Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, The Who and Waters? It sounds like a wonderful utopian parallel universe, except it's true.
