Many things make men attractive, from appearance and dress to behavior and profession. German researchers have now discovered a magical formula that makes men 15 percent more attractive to women! It's not a love potion, it's a love nose spray. And what is the secret ingredient? The hormone oxytocin, also known as the love hormone.
German researchers have discovered "love potion" that makes men 15 percent more attractive. It mimics a nasal spray the hormone oxytocin, which we also call the love hormone and has a wide variety of mental effects, such as love, pleasure, attachment and relaxation, calmness, trust, bonding and breastfeeding, and relaxes between intercourse and orgasm. Researchers at the University of Bonn investigated how oxytocin-like chemicals affect how attractive a man is to women. They gathered 40 women in their twenties, passionately in love with their partners. Half were given a spray containing synthetic oxytocin, and the others placebo.

In order to test the effects of the "love drug", they showed the women photos of men, including their partners, and wanted them to rate their level of attractiveness. Those who "took" synthetic oxytocin nasal spray, recognized men as 15 percent more attractive than women who took a placebo; no change was detected in these. It is not yet known when, if at all, the spray will be available over the counter.
