Salt is known for its natural antibacterial action, which inhibits the growth of bacteria. With vinegar, which has pronounced antibacterial and antifungal properties, they form effective disinfectant mixture. The process not only cleans the sponge, but also dissolves food residues and restores its pleasant smell.
Cleaning process
Sprinkle the sponge liberally with salt, then pour white vinegar over it and let it stand 15 minutes. Repeat the process on the other side of the sponge and finally rinse well with clean water. This method ensures that the sponge will be ready for use again.
